Spring was in the air that morning, though the chill lingered outside. Quentin, Robin, and I were spending a happy afternoon in the library, dreaming of adventures, when a writing slope on the mantle caught Robin’s eye. Inside we discovered the drawing of a cottage, with a key, and a map leading deep into the Wild Woods.

Robin begged us to go at once and after some persuasion, Quentin agreed, so the following morning we set off across fields, down the lane, and into the forest. But when Robin vanished overnight our happiness turned to dread as his footprints ended at the banks of a rushing stream.

We traveled through dense forests, from the mountains to the sea in our desperate search . But would we be too late to save our precious friend?
